The Aurora Historical Society has a Geauga Lake page with some interesting old pictures and postcards, there is even a "Geauga Lake" ticket from 1882 for a Sunday School excursion. An expanded page is "coming soon."

I hope that if Cedar Fair has pictures, documents and items from the park's history that they give them to the Aurora, Western Reserve or Ohio Historical Societies instead of discarding them.
Cedar Fair would get some good PR out of that at no cost whatsoever. |

AHS has some amazing stuff, mway more than they show on that page! That GL page has been up for close to 10 years without any changes. I know for a fact that GL historical stuff may not be as safe as one would hope in the hands of CF. _________________ Greed is what caused GL's demise and that just makes me sick. Lets do what we can to rat out Kinzel - hes a snake.
In the end the truth will come out and we will then see whos laughing at who. |

Well good thing they are posting some history, if they could get as much as possible that would be cool. I'd never trust Cedar Fair to provide any kind of history, or anything ever again. _________________ Geauga Lake I will miss you! |
