GEAUGA LAKE GOES ON THE AUCTION BLOCK IN JUNE
It's been quiet out in Aurora for quite some time but I had received some news yesterday (and posted it on the message boards) that Geauga Lake's remains will be auctioned off in June.
Norton Auctioneers, who have had extensive experience in auctioning off items from closed amusement parks all over the country, have been chosen to do the work. They have posted the dates on their website, which is June 17 and 18. More info is sure to come forth as the date gets closer.
This should be a big auction as the rides that are left and park equipment will be available. There is no word on if the coasters, in particular the Big Dipper, will also be auctioned.

Its good to finally have a date set just to find out what will happen with the property. As I feel we will never get our park back, who knows.  sucks!

Well even if this were to occur if someone bought the property and turned it back into a park which will probably not happen but if it were. The park wouldnt be the same as we knew it.

^True, but I would take the park in any form if it were to come back.
