It's a slow day when you have to blog pictures of dirt. I know there's not a whole lot that goes on in the off season that's bloggable, but these guys really need to come up with some more compelling stuff to post. Why not go through the archives and show off some historical photos. Tony and Tyler just don't seem to have their hearts into blogging.

It was still more interesting than the fools catching snowflakes on their tongues. Yes, their blog is stupid. I like when they get people all excited and then say, "its a new shed for our parade stuff". Wow!!! |

Its typical CF fashion making nothing seem like something. Its pretty sad when a few piles of dirt are supposed to be exciting. Whats even more not exciting is that they are kiddie rides and pretty much the same type of rides that they took out.
Does any young kid really care about Snoopy anymore anyway?

From my midway experiences at Geauga Lake, most adults know who he is but most children don't.
Usually the mom or dad will go: "Hey, look honey, it's Snoopy! Why don't you go give Snoopy a hug?"
Then the kid will run towards him shouting: It's Snoopy! It's Snoopy! It's Snoopy, Snoopy!"
The child still doesn't know who he is but it's easy to get a child excited about nothing, especially if its a cute dog.

Typical CF hater responses. Can you guys ever get new material? You are nothing but a bunch of whiners who need to get over themselves. Funny this is the only site I see the stupid CF hater replies. Oh no let's not forget everyone agrees with you all. Really though? Funny I see everyone on Coasterbuzz and Pointbuzz saying they made the right decision. Maybe at the time it was announced some were mad, but they all got over it. You guys just can't get over it. It's truly very sad. Well I'm sure the whopping 20 members on this site will do much! You may think more care but you are dead wrong. GL attention is dying by the day and less are starting to care. After this auction nothing is left. I mean I can see this site dying in a year or so. What else is there to talk about exactly? I mean I think you guys even can agree with that!! All I see are the same comments. Coasterdad if you don't make something new and exciting for this site soon, you will lose more and more members by the day. How about some little space for GL past and then add a WWK section, then have a section for Industry talk. General GL discussion should be taken out. Bring some new stuff in. Just my suggestions. Just remember everything is dying more and more by the day so do something about it Coasterdad.

This is another reason to boot his ass..... he calls us haters, and he is the biggest hater I see on here..... If you love CF and CP that much, LEAVE US ALONE, and GO TO THEIR SITE!!!!

I agree, its time for him to go. I can't even stand reading his BS. His only reason to come here is to argue every point. This is a GL site and we have every right to discuss our views...ABOUT GL He has never said one positive thing about GL...so why doesn't he get lost. |

CP Boy, can you tell me how the news of GL is dying. First of all when you visit sites like Pointbuzz it is a fan site for Point. So naturally, forum users will praise every move Kinzel and CF makes. Secondly the news of the lake is well known because if you remember, there was a letter from an Ohio Senator urging Cedar Fair to preserve the Big Dipper. So just because people on other sites don't talk about Geauga Lake doesn't mean that people are not angry about it.

Those sites were built to brown nose CF and for no other reason. CF is worshiped by them and moving a fry stand is considered an act-of-god by them and should be praised. Stay on those sites where your welcome!
Every other fan site (Disney, Busch, Universal, Six Flags, etc) can get around biased and agree how stupid CF was to do this. If people forget so easily then why did GL's attendance drop and stay dropped after CF killed what was left of Sea World (the animals)?
If Disney closed Magic Kingdom, the last thing a Disney fan site needs is a Universal fan boy telling them that it was a good decision and that nobody cares, when really thats just the opinion of rival Universal fans.
So why don't you go visit Tony & Tyler's blog, maybe spend all day there refreshing so you can find out what trash-can will be repainted next, and can then be the first to spread the GOOD NEWS to the world (Point Buzz).

The Cedar Point blog is supposed to be a vehicle to get people excited about the park, and posting pictures of a bunch of dirt is not the way to do that. There's nothing hateful there, just honest criticism. The blog post before that shows a half-gutted building, before that pictures from the webcams covered with ice. These guys are getting paid to show us that? Cedar Fair should make the correct "business decision"and cancel the blog. It's not doing anything to truly help the park, and it's draining time, money, and resources that could be better used somewhere else. As a Cedar Point fan, you should be demanding more from them, fans deserve better than pictures of dirt.

Sohio is right, they could do better then post pictures of dirt. I wasn't negative because I hate cedar fair (I am upset with them, but I don't hate them) Also I do think its stupid to post pictures of dirt. I mean if they had actually started to assemble the rides, that would be something to post. CPboy you just need to relax and look at it from a different view. Also I'm disappointed in you. If you love Cedar Point so much, why are you excited about dirt? I seen someone's post above that you should demand more from them, especially for someone like you who IS A LOYAL CUSTOMER!
IF I was you I'd be upset about pictures of dirt, I mean c'mon, they need to be more selective about what they blog about.
