The Big Dipper, RWB, Villian, and Double Loop are still standing. I couldn't see anything else. As I was driving past GL there was a station made out of wood sitting in the parking lot. I couldn't take any pictures of it sorry. Is it still there? I was just wondering what it went to?

Skyglider Thunder Falls User is Offline Joined: 29 Aug 2007 Posts: 757	Posted: Sat Apr 26, 2008 3:16 pm    Post subject: · Quote That is the roof to the Thunderhawk station.  Thunderhawk is now at Michigan's Adventure and Dominator went to Kings Dominion in Virginia.  The Big Dipper's fate is up in the air and the subject of much interest, rumor & speculation.  It might be auctioned off June 17-18 along with Double Loop, Villain and Raging Wolf Bobs and a lot of the rest of the rides. I bet a lot of people are going to be refocusing on what has been taken away (both individual rides and the park as a whole) now that the warm weather is here.

However, I think most anyone can post there, so what they say there has to be taken at face value. I drove by the park as well on Friday.  Looks like they finally got around to demolishing most of the Steel Venom ride staion, the sign is also gone off the Aurora Road side that was by the old waterpark. But suprisingly, everything else seems in tact.  Even Head Spin,  which is rumored to be off to Carowinds for next year.  Maybe they are waiting for the auction befoe taking the bulldozer to the rest of it. As far as the netted structure, I cant say I am heatbroken to be seeing that go.  I never liked that darn thing even when Sea World owned that property. _________________ Rob G.  -  Sea World Ohio and Geauga Lake Fan. Also if you drive on Depot street, my son noticed a statue of a person standing. Also the dumster by the Villian.  It makes you wonder how bad the interior of the park looks....very sad!

Demolition of Villain is scheduled to be next with DL to follow. I assume it will be ripped apart in the same manner. What a tragic end to some truly remarkable rides, I hate CF more right now than any words can express. This is going to be real hard to watch. _________________ Greed is what caused GL's demise and that just makes me sick. Lets do what we can to rat out Kinzel - hes a snake. I'm going to try and go get pictures of this stuff in action. Maybe someone out on this forum who has a video camera would shoot the Villian and Double Loop so we can show how CF and Dick Kenzil really care! Not that I like the fact that they are ripping down some of my favorite rides for no good reason, but I would like to see how they are going to knock it down. I agree with TBone...  there should be as much video taken (and pix) to document the destruction.  Of course its going to be violent and done WITHOUT care - all CF wants is to save money and get it done as quickly as possible.  Even though it will be difficult to observe, it may help in our attempts at unmasking CF for who they really are.    Further documentation of their lack of consideration for these treasures will help show the public just how blatantly evil and greedy CF really is. _________________ Karma is a B*tch, and CF u just got a boat load of bad stuff coming ur way!  Burn CF!  BURN!
