That is unless some contractor finds a diamond ring while excavating.  You know, I'd love to get a high-end metal detector and hit that place after all the fences come down -- especially under the SkyGlide (Dominator) and near the Wave's blow-off valve area.   I know over the years I've lost about $100 in change, two silver necklaces, an onyx and diamond ring, a girlfriend's class ring, a pair of eyeglasses, a couple disposable cameras, several pair of contact lenses, et al.  Could you imagine the historical finds you could find there?  Just the silver (and gold) coins alone would pay for the metal detector. It will be extremely hard to see the DL and villian go....especially the villain it had such a short run. DL had a much longer run and thats sad, it was a good running and smooth arrow coaster. We'll never forgive dick for any of this...first he hurt us by closing the park....then watching it all be destroyed. ANyone could have stepped in to stop this from happening but, cedar fair stuck with dick and honestly I wouldn't trust CF even if he is gone. 1 person don't make a whole company, even if most of it was his fault. SIX is trading at $0.91, management is a joke. Shapiro and Schnieder know nothing of the theme park industry and they also can't stop the company's financial bleeding. The company is doing some desperate things now with the "Big Six" pass. Buy a one day ticket and come back six times. Talk about giving the gate away in an attempt to fix the bad, bad attendance numbers.

Shapiro talks a good talk but it is mainly smoke and mirrors. All the sponsorship deals are pretty much profit neutral. The company is still not profitable and they have more debt than FUN. SIX is at an all time low, expect chapter 11 sooner than later. The company has lost money every year for the last 10 years. I am speculating that results for this quarter will be very bad.
