A few things.

Gemini does actually race. Everytime I was at CP last summer it was racing by mid day. It's a great ride, may not be too intense but what's not to love about it?

WT and Superman are different. Superman had one straight side and one twist, it also stopped on the straight side at the top. I believe WT's ride cycle is longer and it is in a way more beautiful location, right on the beach!

And Maverick sure wasn't a disappointment to me. I thought it was a great ride and a lot of people agree. Isn't it ironic the only bad stories I hear about it come from here? Funny isn't it? If the case isn't you guys are just saying that because you hate CF, you were probably expecting a big huge ride. This ride wasn't the case of that. It wasn't meant to be really intense.

I've actually said it right after I stepped foot off "Bart"... I mean yes the hugging turns were sweet, but not the hype, that was a bit less than desirable.

Maverick isn't intense?  I held on for my freaking life.  I actually loved it, but I am done waiting over 30 min to ride anything.  I am looking forward to riding Ravine Flyer also.  It looks interesting.  I also think most of the coasters at Hershey look fun, I haven't been there in a long time.  It definately has the variety to rival CP.  I look forward to Kenny wood also.  Has anyone ever been to Dollywood and rode the Mystery Mine?  It looks sweet.

I think little Mr. CPboy just wanted to bash other parks other then his Cedar Point park..... I'm also looking forward to Ravine Flyer II! Fareinheit looks nothing like maverick and its looks more exciting! Also noted Gemini is not exciting. Back then it was, now...its just as boring as the kiddie coaster.

So Gemini is a kiddie coaster now? Well let's see, it is more intense than your beloved BD, more intense than RWB and more intense than Villian. Ok, I guess those are all kiddie coasters now! Next time w hen trying to bash something because of the company think of the statistics.

Good lord! Gemini more intense than Villain? The boy is delusional now. Please explain how you think Gemini is more intense than Villain??

The only intense part about Villian is that it is bumpy. Gemini reaches speeds of about 60, I would say Villian reaches about 55. They are pretty close with intensity but I would definetly say Gemini beats it.

You may want to check your facts before posting

According to RCDB Gemini reaches speeds of 60 while Villain reaches speeds of 59. Now in reality Villain goes much faster. Twisting in and out if it structure at those speeds is much more intense on Villain.

My facts were pretty damn close so I don't think I need to check my facts. Gemini I believe is taller but I don't know for sure. Intensity really is an opinion of someones own, it can't really be a fact Coasterdad. I would say they are very tight in intensity, but it should be left out to the people to decide.

Also tell me how in reality Villian goes much faster? If so then Gemini goes faster in reality.

Sounds like we need another poll. I vote for villain being more intense.
Villain practically threw you out of your seat. I constantly had to grab my lap bar. Gemini on the other hand I can ride the entire ride without touching my lap bar once. Like I said before it was intense back in 78 but not now.

No point of that. Villian will win because of all the GL fanbots on here. If only we could do a poll on Coasterbuzz. I would LOVE to do a poll for "Will you visit another CF park in 2008" there.

Haha how is that subjective? Honestly? Polls don't work. Especially since it's a bit against the TOS on CBuzz.

I would guess that even buzzers know a good coaster from an ok one. Thats if you could do a poll there.

Speaking of subjective below are links to the 2007 best roller coaster polls. It is hard to really compare Villain and Gemini in that Gemini is categorized as a steel coaster. In any rate the wood coaster poll shows Villian at 116 and the steel coaster poll shows Gemini at 156. If you look around on that site for other yeas you cn see that in 2000 Villain was ranked 17 while Gemini was rated 86.

Now that seems pretty subjective to me.

And what does that prove at all?? Like I told you, you can't just force someone to like a coaster better than another just because you like the opposite. It's a matter of opinion. I might start a thread up on Pointbuzz asking what ride everyone likes better. It might get locked though.

It proves that 1000 or so people agree with what we have been saying. Its a bit more scientific that your "I am a CP fanboy and therefore anything they have is great" mentality.

I showed facts that back up my statements, now show me the facts that back up yours.
