I saw a guy selling prints of this picture on eBay, I thought about buying one but they sold out before I could get any money in my Paypal account. So for sharing purposes I messed with the watermark in Photoshop. Its still there, but now its not so annoying.
It is an interesting picture in that Turtle Beach is under construction. I'd be interested to learn if there are other pictures floating around from this photo session. Enjoy.

The actual photo comes as an 8x10 (roughly) with a white border around it. It's a BEAUTIFUL photo and well worth the $7.00 - $10.00 the guy usually asks for it. I have a feeling the guy is running off prints from a master on a Kodak Picture Maker... still, the colors are bright and true, clarity and pixelation are great, memories are bound to ensue.
I've contacted the seller previously about other aerials of the park and he said that is the only one he has.
That having been said I did find another company that specialized in aerial photography who is selling another photo of Geauga Lake from a different angle (and year):

As well as a pretty cool photo of Chippewa Lake's Big Dipper:

BTW: I just heard from a representative of the company in the links above; the photo of Geauga Lake was taken shortly before the end of the 2007 season. They say they have additional photos of the park (most from after the closing, likely showing demolition and/or deconstruction). Prints are fairly reasonable ($15.00 for 8x10) but they charge a "search" fee that's pretty expensive (IMO) of $50 to put together proofs of available images of a particular subject.
Who's interested in chipping in, we all request the same subject, share the cost of the proofs, then order what we want from the single order of proofs? _________________ Positions Held:

I contacted another aerial photographer today, and he sent me a link to his GL photos. Pretty nice, actually. I would prefer to find an aerial shot from 1988-1993, but one of these might have to do:

You can see the parts from Dominator and Thunderhawk that were taken off sitting in the parking. Nice picture of Wolf Bobs and Dipper. _________________ "What we do in life, echoes in eternity."

| If anyone can find an early 90's(mainly 1993) aerial, I would definitely buy it. Something with the Wave and Stingray slides and all that area. Also Corkscrew,Musik Express. |

BTW: In the off chance that someone here does not also go to the "Geauga Lake Discussion" category... I've negotiated special pricing for the photos LiquidLaser posted above.
