Sadly things didn't work out with GL, but i think if CF did it all again, they would have taken out all of or most of the rides 6F put in, as they cost more money to operate than they were making profits

But that's exactly what CF did and did it secretly. X-Flight was rumored to leave, in which a vast majority of us didn't believe at first until a surveying van showed up. We didn't know Steel Venom was being removed until we saw it missing in photos from the CF group outing brochure in early 2007.

So with the two biggest rides in terms of operating cost and maintenance gone things should have started to turn around.

-IX Indoor Amusement Park (running now until Mid-April)

-Cuyahoga Falls' 'Waterworks" Waterpark

-Pioneer Waterland & Dry Fun Park (Chardon, OH)

-Monsoon Lagoon Waterpark (Port Clinton, OH)

-Waldameer & Waterworld

-Kennywood

-All the large regional/county fairs

On another note, Kings Island is too long haul of a drive, meanwhile the BEST Amusement park in the nation (Hersheypark) being a similarc drive for me, as well as Darien Lake (Buffalo, NY) and Niagara Falls, NY being closer as well!

This is my first post here.

There is also SFKK. It may be too long of a drive though.

welcome to the forums.

SFKK is a decent park but we were trying to mention parks that are less then a 2 hour drive from Geauga Lake.
