I want to make a Song CD from Geauga Lake (Or any other park) The problem is I can't remember all the songs that were played at the park on the midway and other places. Plus my last year there I was stuck in Rainbow Island So all I can remember was the damn kids songs. So if anyone can remember any bands or song titles that would help out alot. So far I have
1.) Wipe out
2.) Labamba
3.)Good Vibrations
Anyone know of any others?
Thanks,

Stormchaser (Akiva) had the entire 2007 list last fall, he may be able to help out. It was available for free through doubleloop.com, if I recall correctly.
"Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison seemed to get a lot of play over the years. "Uptown Girl" by Billy Joel is another from the Boardwalk shores era, also "On the Boardwalk." _________________ "It's a very special ride. We want to make sure it has a proper home." Sorry about the bad link, the site actually was http://thedoubleloop.com/ , looks like it is shutting down soon. _________________ "It's a very special ride. We want to make sure it has a proper home." CF Spokesperson Robin Innes about the Big Dipper.

Back when Texas Twister was new, they played "The Thunder Rolls" by Garth Brooks. On boardwalk shores they played "(Sittin' On) the Dock of the Bay" by Otis Redding.
Also here is a video by Akiva with a compilation of Double Loop's station music.

Back when there were TVs in the park playing music videos I remember seeing Sinead O'Connor - "Nothing Compares To You" every time I turned around. I think there was also a Bananarama song in the mix too. _________________ Positions Held:

Thanks Chadta, I was this close to having Ratt out of my memory forever!!!! 80's hair bands were halerious. Better than the Ghetto stars of today. Rock you like a hurricane is awesome. I remember a NHL game for EA sports had that song on during the commercial and all they showed was Eric Lindros creaming people. _________________ Remember......Fan Boys and Haters are always good for one thing. I thought the 2007 season had the best music the park ever had in the four years under CF. A lot of great tunes and each coaster basically had their own soundtrack. _________________ On September 21, 2007, a historic 119-year old amusement park had been secretly murdered. Never forget it. |
