I did not have enough posts to create a topic so I will just post my Holiday World Trip report so I will just put it hear since I spent a lot of time typing it.
This holiday weekend I made the 6 hour drive to check out Holiday World. I have been to most of the parks in driving distance so I wanted to try a new place. I liked how the park was themed after different holidays, I just though that the regions could have been differentated a little bit better, most of the time I did not know which area I was in.
I am not a huge water park fan so I just went to ride the 3 quality coasters.
First up was Raven I know iw was number one for a few years. To me it was good not great, I would say a 8 out of 10
The second one I went on was the Legend, I love the way how the bell tolls 3 times every time the train leaves the station. The ride really did not do much for me I went on it 2 and do not remember much of it. I would say a 7 out of 10
The last coaster was definetly not the least the Voyage was everything I had hopped it would be and more. Few rides will give me a prolonged smile after I get off them, this ride was definitly one of them. I guess we were there on a good day because even though the park seemed busy there was only a small wait I rode it 5 times liking it more each time I rode it. It has qualities of some of my favorite coasters. It has the overbanking I like on Milliumn Force and the Airtime I like from Magnumn, i actually wish I was on it now.
It scores a perfect 10 out of 10
We watched a lot of the shows, they were fun enough, also did a few other rides and spent a lot of time watching the glass blower work. (Does CP still do that, or do they just sell stuff)
We ate at Plymoth Rock which had really good food at a fair price, and how can you go wrong with FREE Pepsi products.
All and all it was a good trip and look forward to going back there again someday, I would give the park a 9 out of 10. _________________ Top 5 Coasters
