Thanks Ray P. for figuring it out. I guess I cant fool a Photoshop expert as yourself. I spent hours taking pics of the empty lot then went back and took pictures of a full lot and was able to get the pics you saw. As for the stairs on HM and LL that was easy I took a section of the stairs that were empty (that was really hard as I had to wait a while) then added them in. It really looks like the place was dead didn't it? We all know that WWK was packed this weekend so who am I kidding.
Anyway I went through my pics again and noticed something I didn't see before. It seems a lonely old man is wandering around inside the skyscraper. Poor guy.

Skyglider, I have been to Walamere and Kennywood, as well has knoble in years pass. All are beautiful parks. I agree they remind me of Geauga Lake. I want to go to Idawild some day also. Kennywood is a beautiful park and I hope the new owners keep it that way. Knoble Park reminds me of old Euclid Beach with its free admisson with its old rides and new rides.
This year go to the park when the flying turns opens. You will love this ride. I rode the one at Euclid Beach and loved it. This one is not has high but I saw what they where doing last year and it lookd great.
Long live Geauga Lake and make Kennywood, Walamere and Knoble live on for ever. |

Personally I would have had him hanging half out of broken window where he impaled himself (gross I know but I don't care) |

definately, took the kiddies there yesterday, we've been going there the last 3 years, the 1st or second day the kids were done with school. This year they weren't open on Friday, & we had weekend obligations. Every other year the place was packed. This year not the case, you pretty much had your pick of anywhere to get a chair & this was at 2:00 in the afternoon. Previously, if you got there at 2:00 the only place you'd might be able to catch a chair would be in the outermost sides of the wave pool. You could actually just go in & get a tube for the lazy river.
Talked with a lady that was there on Sunday, she said that there only a few more people there then.
Not a good sign for WWK. It looks like CP was wrong again! Surprise, Surprise. _________________ Money, power, fame: the roots of evil, and others heartache. |

Although I don't have any new photos of the former Geauga Lake, I do have some new shots of Texas Twister/Firefall in action from last weekend.
The ride pretty much feels exactly like it did when I rode it at Geauga Lake last year. The new surroundings add a bit to the overall thrill, but Great America is still having some issues getting all of the effects working at the same time. It was strange standing in front of Fire Twister knowing I was doing the exact same thing in Ohio this time last year.
Anyways I wanted to let you know your former ride is doing well out west. If anyone is interested in the complete update, click the www link in my profile.
Take it easy folks,
-Sean

Menefee - Thanks for the pictures. My son was a ride op at GL and he did operate this ride. So it's nice to know it is being taken care off. |

Thanks for the kind feedback. If anyone has any questions about the recent installation of Firefall at CGA, feel free to ask.

Sean, did any of our other rides make it to that park? Was the queue full and did people seem to like their 'new' ride? |
