So some people over at Pointbuzz that were at the park today said that MaXair went through a test cycle today. That is good news! I also heard Skyscraper was starting to be put together today... CF is really good at fixing rides. Too bad they couldn't fix RWB in time before the end of the season.

Oh, they could have. But they knew they were closing the park, so why bother.

Yes I agree with that! Considering on the first day of Cedarpoints season this year, my family was in line to ride the Maverick. The sign said 3/4 hour wait! We were excited. Our 3/4 hour wait turned into 2 and a half hours because the ride kept breaking down. Finally my family and I got on the ride. They locked us in and then they had another break down and they unloaded us and the ride closed! It said closed on and off most of the day! I told my kids that I will wait until it is running smoother before going on it! I want to enjoy the ride and not get stuck!

issues and kinks yes, but this sat idle for 2 days, the day i was there nobody was touching it unless they were invisible, maybe there were just waiting for a part but either way id say its pretty pathetic.

so i sent an email to guest relations asking if it will be open this weekend and letting them know that i was not very happy about it not being open and there beaing no sign to tell me that last weekend, well they said sorry that i wasnt happy and hopefully ill have a better time my next trip.

what the hell kind of response is that ? they didnt even touch my question of whether it would be open this weekend or not.

You would complain about a ride that isn't a big deal opening up. OMG MaXair isn't open, I am not going to go to CP now!! And you had the nerve to complain about one ride? And there is a thing on the website about it. And ever think they don't put a dign up because people just don't go for MaXair?? I mean I like MaXair and all but I could care less it it's not running. Well I just saw MaXair do a FULL test run on the webcam. Hopefully it will be open by next week.

What in the world are you talking about and who are you talking to? If your referring to Chadta, as usual you are posting without reading the comment. Chadta is complaining about behemoth not being open, and that is a very big deal. When you advertise a new ride internationally you better make sure all the kinks are out. And if you read Dominator56 correctly he was agreeing with Chadta that it is inexcusable not to have your prize ride of the year not working and to not have a sign out front warning people that it is down. I guess cf was afraid if they told customers ahead of time they might not come into the park that day. That is pathetic customer service both in not placing a sign and in their response to Chadta's complaint.

P.S. You still haven't answered my question?

We all know this is a maXair thread, if you read he was using behemoth as a comparison to maXair being down.

apparently so did behemoth, i just got a second reply to my original email.

Dear Chad,

Thank you for contacting Canada’s Wonderland.
I am sorry for the inconvenience, due to the colder weather, safety precautions had to be taken and Behemoth had to be closed for a couple of days. Behemoth was up and running for most of today, and as the weather gets warmer things will run more smoothly. Again, I am sorry for your disappointment and I hope your next visit is more enjoyable.

If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesistate to call us at (905) 832-8131.

Sincerlely,

to which i replied

are you sure it was a good idea to build a ride that couldnt run in the cold in canada ?

yes i was kinda just being a smart a**.

honestly tho its not a big deal since my daughter is only 48 inches tall and cant ride it anyhow, shes gonna have to wait till july when we go to cedar point and go on a big coaster then.
