It is clear that the love you feel for GLP is painful and at the same time it makes you smile. There is a reason that TBD is still standing. I wish I was able to tell you why. I encourage you to focus on the good feelings you had there and try to find a way to put away the hurt for now. I enjoyed the photos and stories and hope that some day you will be able to feel the thrill again. What a beautiful day to meet then drive down 43 and see her standing there, proud and defiant. I think we can all agree on one thing and that is that Dipper will be made able to thrill again. It’s unfortunate that coasterowner will no longer talk to me via email due to his unwillingness in understanding the hurt caused by CF on all of us. I will never stop defending what I believe to be one of the worst moves by an amusement park owner to their loyal customers. Not only did they lie to us then, they continue to lie in everything they do. We were lied to and told untruths, and for that we are supposed to stop talking about it. I agree with mostly everything coasterowner has to say, but I will not ever stop telling people how I feel…..ever! _________________ GL's demise was caused by one mans foolish greed. In the end the truth will come out as it always does.

The disappointment over how it was closed and lack of any explanation still upsets a lot people, many who never post about it. The legend of the park is growing. Seems like a great opportunity for a win-win situation that benefits the area, people who loved the park, the Big Dipper owner and yes even Cedar Fair, as owner of the land they clearly are part of the picture. It would be great for all involved if something works out.

I felt many topics were discussed and alot of positive ideas came out of this meeting. I feel it was a real step towards the future. Afterwards, took a quick walk around the park, not too much had changed since the last time.
