Just got back from Disney World and it was great.
First off, the parks were not very crowded and while there were some waits, typical standby was less then half hour for any ride you wanted, but typically took 5-10 minutes.
We got the food plan and it was a great deal - We ate like royalty for $35 per day, plus tips. I'd highly recommend the package if you can do it.
Also, soda is like $2.29 each and snacks/food seemed reasonable considering what Disney could charge. You could easily eat a counter top meal for around $8 if you were on a budget, although with the food plan, we tended to eat the most expensive meals possible. Great filet at epcot.
We spend far less out of pocket then anticipated, although we did attribute this in part to not overspending on souveneirs.
Disney is not quite a ride haven as much as a place to enjoy the atmosphere, but it is nice. I think Cedar Fair has made mistakes in removing its tie-ins to various characters(at Kings island) in that kids LOVE to see theming on the rides(as do adults like myself).
Disney is great, and i'd recommend going to anyone with kids (or without) _________________ Sea World Operations back in da day |

Nobody here cares about where you went unless it is a Geauga Lake Today Approved Park, unfortunately. |

I read the TR and enjoyed it but I haven't been able to "log in" for weeks. Every time I try, it says I entered the wrong code.
I agreed with it. I went to WDW and the food plan was a great deal. If I had my choice to visit any park in the USA, I would always choose WDW. I love all the parks, waterparks, shopping and food. I went for 8 days and not once did I complain about the crowds or food...or anything. It was the perfect vacation. Their employees go above and beyond. |

Where the heck did you ever get that idea??
Note to mindless troll - we do care. I would take a Disney park over a CF park any day! _________________ Greed is what caused GL's demise and that just makes me sick. Lets do what we can to rat out Kinzel - hes a snake.

So you only read that one Halloweekends trip report because you wanted to tell the guy that it wasn't a real trip report? |

Glad you enjoyed your trip to Disney.
Did you stay on property?
When my parents do down in December they are getting the meal plan for free as Disney is using free dining as a way to get people to stay on property.
(im going the same time as them in Dec but staying in a different resort...gotta love my 50% cast member discount!) _________________ 04-Americana
