In Miller School on Route 43, not far from Aurora Farms, there used to be and maybe still is a giant mural depicting the monsters from the book Where the Wild Things Are in the south hallway that connects the lower and upper halls, on the outside of the library wall. It is all Kindergarten now, but when I started at Miller it was grades 1 through 4. Spent 7 of the best years of my academic career there. Anyway, in my memory that mural was about a mile long and the Wild Things were 30 feet tall. Anyone else remember that? Or see the movie?
