According to ScreamScape:
Speculation - (11/10/0 A reader tells us that the latest edition of Ace News mentions that Cedar Point, “still hasn’t made it official, but expect an epic flume ride from Intamin which will surely boast world records of some kind.” While I haven’t heard a peep myself lately and the Intamin connection is almost surprising since Knott’s is said to be considering removing Perilous Plunge (Intamin), this does make sense. Back in late 2005 when White Water Landing was removed, the park did mention that they were looking into some new flume ride designs for a future project.
Could they be purchasing the old Perilous Plunge from Knott's and moving it to CP? |

Why would Cedar Point get a "used" ride? _________________ Chances are... |

A few years ago I would have said, CF doesn't close parks, they never have in the past.
Many CF parks received used rides lately, I don't think CP is immune to this practice anymore. _________________ Greed is what caused GL's demise and that just makes me sick. Lets do what we can to rat out Kinzel - hes a snake.

While I doubt PP is on its way to the Point, I will be a dick and say this to the above quote:
Uh, because they got 8 of them this year?
But what the hell do I know? I'm stupid because I use my real name in a message forum. |

Skyscraper came from Dorney. And after all, they want the more thrilling rides to go in at CP so they might do some "ride shuffles" to where they're happy. _________________ 2008 - Cedar Point - Raptor - Crew Member

According to this Plain Dealer article CF likes to rotate which parks get new rides each year.

Too bad all the years they owned Geauga Lake they never rotated any new rides Geauga Lake's way. _________________ "Be ashamed to die until you have achieved

Michigan's Adventure hasn't seen any new rides since Cedar Fair acquired them in 2001.
That is unless you count Thunderhawk as "new". _________________ Chances are... |

I don't consider water rides to be a major addition.
What I meant in my post is that MA hasn't received a MAJOR ride, such as a NEW (not relocated) roller coaster.
You know, the same kind of major addition GL people were crying about not getting when CF first took over. _________________ Chances are... |
