Here is another freeware
Photofiltre is a complete image editing and effects package, that will not only amaze you with features but also the fact that it is free (for personal use). It comes with many features that rival some commercial packages, as well as additional add-on that can be downloaded from the web site. PhotoFiltre offers all the standard editing features (selection, clone brush, paint brush etc.) as well as a large selection of image effects, photo masks, image adjustments, thumbnail browser and much more. The program also supports batch processing to apply filters, sizing, adjustments and transformations to a large number of images at once. PhotoFiltre comes with modern, well designed interface and is well suited for everything from simple resizing to advanced photo editing.
Pros: Great editing features; easy-to-use; fast loading
Cons: Does not support layers; no support for Photoshop filters
See more info on it, in the link provided _________________

I checked out the site and found it had a green SiteAdvisor rating. 40 out of 45 users gave green rating comments. 4 of the 5 red ratings were in reference to "Crack" software. Tools used for "PC monitoring" or password recovery will trigger alerts in anti-virus programs, simply because of their nature, and their potential threat to your privacy IF they were installed on your computer WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT. Siteadvisor rates the site green with this qualifier: "In our tests, we found a small fraction of downloads on this site that some people consider adware or other unwanted programs." You can read about it yourself at:

I would say that this site is probably ok most of the time, but if you download something from it, download it first to a folder like "My Downloads" and scan it with your anti-virus and several anti-spyware/anti-malware programs before installing it on your computer. In fact, I do this with every download I make from the internet, regardless of where I get it from, and my downloads come only from well known and trusted sites. The short time it takes to do this can save you a lot of grief! It only takes one bad download to wreak havoc on your computer. Ask wwe9112! _________________ Repa
