Hi 
This board is Totally Cool!
I'm here after clicking on an image I saw at the bottom of a signature pepperpot wears! It had the word "Geek" on it and here I am.
My name is Amanda aka Oopzz! You may see RAVEN too as it is another one of my tags. I enjoy meeting cool people and helping others. My favorite past time is working on my forums, playing my flute and doing graphics. I love photoshop and all of the other graphics editors.
I'm a legal consultant by profession and work from home mostly because I care for my grandpa who is 98 years old. He rocks!
I'm a geek because as long as I can remember, I had my face in books. All during school, I had my money taken all the time or my lunches (laughing). Even in college, my roommate would play jokes on me; but in the end, we became best friends.
I'm still a geek and will be one forever, I think!

Wow! Thanks for the warm welcome! [feeling emotional] I've been through so many forums; then after awhile, I usually just bow out gracefully -- if being at a place will make me uncomfortable.
People who help one another without ever wanting anything in return are a special bred. You don't find them everywhere.
Right now, I'm going through post-traumatic stress because my forum keeps booting me every 15 minutes. Even after cleaning, dusting, removing, filtering, remodeling and redecorating, (mimicking the psychic on Poltergeist) "this house is still NOT clean!"

Awwww, I hope things are much much better for you. If you are still having problems after following some tuts here. Let Repa and Sam know.

Welcome, Raven! I'm sorry I'm late on the welcome wagon - I'm a snowbird, currently on my migration from Washington State to Arizona. We usually take several weeks to stop and see what we haven't seen before, so I'm in and out infrequently at the moment. Once I get settled, I'm here usually every day.
