I Wish I could get out and get some winter shots but it's inavisable to go off the highways here without 4WD in the winter. The town itself (ROCKSPRINGS WY)has been cut off intermittantly over the past two weeks due to the WINTER storms passing through they close the expressways & highways, you are just stuck till it clears and they can clear the wrecks and open the roads... AH winter in the high desert PLEASE somebody get me outta here !!!

Though I would like to say I could offer my beach getaway to warm up those bones to who needs it, I'm afraid I cannot  sorry!!!
But 24K you can still do the winter category.
The category is how to portrait what winter means for were you live, even a photo from your window would do - If the place is barred and not a soul in sight - if it's a car is snowed in or your front porch - if you see a car accident - even if you see operation closed-roads in action. All this things represent winter.
The winter category doesn't necessarily has to have snow in the images.
For those on the south side  we do have a different "winter" but nevertheless... we do
After the winner is picked we would ask he/she to come forward and tell us how the scene/image represents winter for he/she

Thank you for merging both of these threads...I was not sure and didn't want to lose one of the to cyberspace...and I would love to have your climate even your winter...
24K...Don, PLEASE somebody get me outta here !!! Oh dear I can relate...I live on the East Coast in MA and we have had so much snow and cold weather...I don't even want to venture outside unless it's necessary...Yesterday I looked out the window and we had a white out with all the snow falling...burrrrrrr...Get me out of here too...We just have to deal for the time being...Spring is not that far off...
Venting ...go away snow and hurry up spring time...I want to see my tulips and flowers again...
