Everything seemed to be running fine (except hitting F2 at start up) until I downloaded Spybot. I have SpySweeper paid version and I'm not sure if that interfered with Spybot or not?
Well, normally Spyware programs don't interfere with each other like anti-virus programs do, but I suppose it's possible. If SpySweeper has the same protections as Spybot, you could turn Spybot's resident shield off and just use it as an extra scanner.
The paid version of Spysweeper has a lot more protection than ones that are not. I had lots of trouble with Tea Timer and slow speeds with my computer so I had to do a system restore to get rid of Spybot. Otherwise I did like it. I do think there was conflicts between SpySweeper(paid Version) and Spybot...One thing it did fix the problem I had with the Rainy day coming back after I rebooted or at start up. So now that is back again...Not a big problem I just have to change it after I reboot...And yes I believe I may have saved it but I'm not sure. I'm still playing around with it the themes now. I did delete them but I tried saving Windows Classic and this morning after I rebooted but Rainy Day comes back...Like I said not a big deal...I'm happy this computer is still working well...I also downloaded IE7 hoping it might fix the theme problem...
Question: If I dl Spybot again. Could I not check Tea Timer? It was an option when I downloaded it the first time. I was not sure so I left the check box checked. I suppose if there was a check mark for Tea Timer I must have the option to not check it. Just wondering if that would be alright? Or possibly use another program?
I also went to msconfig to stop some things from starting when windows starts but on the System Tab one of the essential Microsoft Programs is not checked and I'm not sure how to check it to start...I tried. Is there a secret for this fix?
Which program is not checked? Is the checkbox there but unchecked, or is the checkbox shaded so you can't check it? Exactly what did you do that didn't work?
I checked that this morning and the program which is Stopped the same one under it is Running. I was concerned because it was essencial. My mistake I missed it when I asked this question.
Another problem when I change my settings Display Properties System Tab; Rainy Day comes back on a reboot or start up. I can't seem to keep Windows Classic or Windows Standard on the second drop down box. The funny thing when I had Spybot I was able to keep these settings...Crazy Computer don't you think...
Hmmm, did you at one time save Windows Classic as Rainy Day.theme?
I guess I've answered this above which isn't a big deal. I'll keep playing around with it and let you know if I find a fix...Thanks a bunch for all your help. I appreciate your help as well as the time you put into this board for us all. Warmest wishes to the family

Yes, uncheck Teatimer. I do not recommend running teatimer. It is a resource hog and a real pain at times. The resident shield, SDHelper, should be checked unless you suspect there is a conflict with Spysweeper, which there shouldn't be. If you don't want it running, then uncheck that too, but keep Spybot as an extra scanner to use during routine maintenance or if you get a malware problem. _________________ Repa

Thanks Repa,
Yes Tea Timer was a system hog. I wished I had asked before downloading it the first time. I'll give it a try soon and let you know how things are working out.. _________________
