I can start working on getting my pc in shape and all the links posted and the steps I had taken and you replied to are gone. From what I have read, someone at Freeboard hacked in and ruined it? SO we lost everything??

I posted about the update for Outlook Express messing up my address book.
I downloaded IE 7 per our previous posts before it was all lost. I am still getting script errors when using IE. How can I fix this?

I want to follow the other steps but they are gone now. Not sure where I was suppose to post this since it's many things. Just want to work on one at a time. You had said you felt my registry might be corrupt. I don't remember much else. Can you please help me start over with this as the pc is soooo slow. I am scared to use any type of registry cleaner as I don't understand them and I don't want it to remove things I want to keep.

Please advise me again. Now I wished I had copied it and saved it in word. Sorry I have to ask again.

BTW do you have an antivirus or spyware program scanning in the background. Those things will slow your pc down a lot and even cause error messages.

If you have something that scans automatically in the background disable it and set it up for a time you are not using your PC. Pull up task manager when you get the error messages by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete and see what is scanning in the background.

Oh thank goodness!! I will print it out tomorrow and get started.

AVG will start scanning sometimes but I know when it starts and I always shut it down as I run scans every week.
