ihgt, I'm making a John Cena fan site. I'm using dreamweaver cause it has a templating system and makes it easier to make a new theme or what ever....but I have a problem. How do I apply the template to my index --and when I add more pages, I wan't it to update the pages too. Because i can't figure it out how to get dreamweaver to apply the template to my page...hope that made sense _________________ if there was room for another God, and Almighty was ok with it, He would pick me because I'm just that darn good |

Just a thought as I do not have Dreamweaver
Have you saved the first page as a template?
If you have, make sure you to add editable regions.
"Editable regions define areas that are abel to be edited once the page is turned into a template - All other areas will not be."
See this link

Yea, those aren't dreamweaver templates though. Dreamweavr template you edit the file .dwt and it will update all the other pages, but I don't see where it's editing anything else but the .dwt. _________________ if there was room for another God, and Almighty was ok with it, He would pick me because I'm just that darn good |

OK I got this going, now how do I update all pages using a dreamweaver template? When I try to update (i have one page so far)I click save and save for the file and when i look it never changed I have to save he file in dreamweaver separate. What if I have 200 pages. I know there has to be something im doing wrong. _________________ if there was room for another God, and Almighty was ok with it, He would pick me because I'm just that darn good |
