You can remove it from add/remove programs in the control panel.
When you do a Java update, there is a checkbox for the Yahoo Toolbar, and it is checked by default. You have to uncheck it to prevent it from being downloaded. _________________ Repa

Then, uninstall the Java update you just did and see if by chance that gets rid of it. If it doesn't, restore your system back to the point just before you did the update. That should get rid of the Yahoo toolbar. Then, reinstall the Java update and be sure to uncheck that option.
I just did a Java update and it is now offering by default Microsoft Office compatible Open Office word processor, spreadsheet, presentation, drawing and other applications from OpenOffice.org for free. Not a bad deal if you don't have MS Office, or you can go to OpenOffice.org and get them there for free. Be sure to uncheck this option if you don't want it. _________________ Repa

If your using FireFox then go to tools --> add-ons --> and uninstall yahoo toolbar. I did that on fire fox 2.2.22 or something like that, and it worked, but I'm not sure if it uninstalled on the whole system or not. _________________ if there was room for another God, and Almighty was ok with it, He would pick me because I'm just that darn good |

I already removed it by doing a search on how to un-install it. All I had to do was click on a "Pencil" on the yahoo tool bar, and the click uninstall from the drop down menu.
Thank ya'll for the replies! _________________ Thanks!!
