Some of you know that I've been creating a cancer support website for church from scratch...I finally have it done!!!!!
It's my first one that I've created from scratch, so please let me know of any improvements or comments that you have...
www.spirituallygrowingwithcancer.org
Thanks!!
*edited* I forgot to ask, I noticed that in Firefox, the text is small and the "white" when you mouseover the nav buttons, it doesn't cover all of the button. Is there a way to fix it for Firefox, but it still looks the same in IE? _________________

You did a great job on this site...I'm so proud of you...I really can't say enough or find an emotion to tell you how nice I think it came out. I'm sure the church members will agree...GO Ruth....Love the colors too...

Did you do any SSI? It will make it easy to edit next time you wanna change the template. _________________ if there was room for another God, and Almighty was ok with it, He would pick me because I'm just that darn good |

I think SSI is server side include.
If you have the same bit of code that needs to go on serveral pages - you can put the code in a file and then put a statement on the pages where it would be - just telling it to include that code.
Then if you need to change it you only have to change it in one place.
I remember reading about it - quite some tine ago. Don't know exaclty how to do it though.

I hope that is what he was talking about.
He menioned to me I should use it for the navagaion bar on my pages on my site.
If I get time and energy sometime I might check it out. I think my ISP told me they don't allow SSI - but they also told me they don't allow script of anykind but that is not entirely true. They do allow javasciprt. I think they meant they don't allow server side scirpts - live asp, php.
Anway, maybe someday I'll check it out.

Nice job on your website, Ruth. One of these days I need to get back to developing my collectibles website. Just haven't had the inclination to finish it - this forum and other things really consume a lot of my time. Right now, the grandchildren are taking up most of my time. They can be a handful at times, but we love them! _________________ Repa
