Thank you, Jane and Sam. Sam, I confess - the Praying Mantis is mine also. Isn't he the coolest bug you've ever seen? Reminds me of an extra-terrestrial! Cool

And yes the Praying Mantis is the coolest bug I have ever seen... to this day it still bugs me in killing one that was eating away at my Azalea  Sad

Congrats, Repa, that is a beautiful photo. I had a hard time deciding, and I did settle on the Praying Mantis, because he is soooo unusual!
So far, I have never been able to catch a butterfly sitting still long enough to take a picture. Great shot.

Repa,

Congradulations on the photos...Smile ...I was also wondering about the praying mantis. It does look like one of those out of space creatures.
I had a hard time picking between those two I thought the Praying Mantis was so unusual looking. You must have been crawling on the ground to find him...He looked like he was hiding...
I have to confess how nice the butterfly looks with my avatar when I sign into the board. Smile Really you know how they look when we sign in, well it looks so neat next to the daisies...maybe silly but true...The Butterfly was a winner for sure and so pretty. You put a lot of time into that one and well deserving of the photo of the month...

To the other photos very well done too. A fun month with bugs...mine are still in my camera...Soon I'll have more time...I just feel it...I know I'm tired and babbling again...thumbs up all...

Thanks Everyone...Great Photos
OK Now Beam me up Scottie

Just go to the Polling Booth general announcement or the Albums link, Linda, and you've find it. It will still be there for another day or 2.
