I just talked to my sister in Houston. Well. actually in a suburb on the south side of Houston. She said, they had a hole in thier roof and part of the fence down and were without power. She said she thought the majority of the area was without power and don't know when they will get it back, could be as long as a week. I haven't been able to get in contact with her son and daughter (grown with their own families). She hasn't talked with them yet either. May have trouble getting in touch with her son since they only have a cordless phone for the house and they probably don't have power. She said she thought they might have a cell but not sure where she has the number. I think her daughter my only have a cell. I aksed her to contact me again when she hears from them.
But at least she said the worst of it was over except for the rain. But with the hole in their roof that is a problem.

Fay,
I'm glad you were able to talk with your sister so you don't have to worry if she is alright. I'm glad to hear it is over and the power will be restored, I hope soon. I know she will feel better when she gets in touch with her kids. I will say prayers for them all.
Take care, _________________

Fay,
That would be so scary! I'm glad that you could talk with your sister and that she's OK!! I pray that she will get in contact with her kids very soon! Sorry about the hole in her roof, but it sounds like it could have been a lot worse!
Again, glad that she's fine!!!!! _________________

Glad to hear they are okay. Living in Fl, I know how it goes during and after a hurricane. Saw a lot of it on TV during the night and today. Galveston got it bad and Houston did get it worse than I thought they would. But, good to hear people are okay. _________________

Glad to know they are ok too Fay.
It's really does put a person on their toes not knowing from there love ones. But she will soon.
An Aunt of mine who lives in Houston said that the power outage is terrible and that it will take 3 weeks to get it back up. At least there is assessment on this. _________________
