Saw a news article about Apples new Ipod/camera/pda/phone all in one. Speculation mostly but at the show in LV next week they are expecting Apple to announce it. Global usage. Als speculation, will be with Cingular for the phone part. What do you think?\\

Sounds interesting. Though, for my part, I wish the cellular phone makers would concentrate on producing a phone that can be used for quality phone calls, rather than for taking pictures or playing music.
If Apple can make a quality all-in-one, more power to them.

The problem with a phone that can do that many things is that it probably doesn't do all of them equally well. Given Apple's success with the I-Pod, I would expect the camera and PDA to be limited. Cingular will handle the phone part, so that is likely to work well. I don't have any info yet, just speculation. There is much to be accomplished in the area of battery life before I would want that much of my technology in one package. I like the PDA / phone combination because they are often used in conjunction.

It seems way over the top for me.
I like geeky gadgets,but I dont think I would need this one.
