Our Mission:
Geeks, Geeks and More Geeks is a growing community of diverse individuals devoted to providing online services consisting of computer and photography help and tutorials in such a way that the beginning computer user and photographer can understand. We are dedicated to maintaining a friendly environment where members of all ages and technical backgrounds can feel relaxed and comfortable about asking questions and participating in the forums.
Getting Started:
Summary: You must register in order to participate in the forums, games, and other activities. Once registered, you'll have the ability to post your questions in the appropriate category and participate in all board activities. Registration and all assistance is free with no strings attached! Once you've completed registration, simply click the appropriate category, click on the "Post new topic" button, and post your question or information! If you can assist another member by sharing your knowledge, please feel free to post a reply! To help someone else or reply to a topic, use the “Quick Reply” box, or click on the “Reply to topic” button.
Step 1: Registration
You must first register in order to participate. It's completely free with no hidden strings attached. Near the top of every page just under the logo is a menu bar that includes the choice “Register.” Please read the GG&MG Member Rules and Guidelines, Welcome, and Legal Stuff sticky threads in the New Users forum to familiarize yourself with our board guidelines before proceeding.
Step 2: Familiarize yourself with the message board
Now that you are registered and have familiarized yourself with our board guidelines and legal statement, here are some suggestions for familiarizing yourself with the message board:
a. Looking for an answer to a specific problem? First try searching our site to see if someone has already asked the same question, or if a tutorial is available. Near the top of every page just under the logo is a menu bar that includes the choice “Search.”
b. If you are having a computer problem and need some computer help, ask us in our Computer Help!!!! forum in the Windows Computer Help category.
c. If you have a question about photography or camera equipment, ask us in our Photography Discussion forum in the Photography category. If you are having a problem and need help with your editing software or your camera and equipment, post your question in "Photography Help." Also, you can share your photos for all to enjoy in "The Image Gallery" sub-forums.
d. If it is an easy to read and understand “how-to” or tutorial on a topic that you need help with, you can visit our Tutorials forums in the Windows Computer Help or Photography categories. Once you are there, just browse through the various tutorials until you find one that suits your needs. Links to other tutorials and help articles on the Worldwide Web are also provided in each of these categories.
e. If you cannot find the information or get the help you are searching for, you can always contact one of our administrators or moderators via Private Message for assistance. Near the top of every page just under the logo is a menu bar that includes the choice “Private Messages.”
f. Join us in the Community Lounge for relaxing forums to chat, learn about crafts and hobbies, or just play games and tell jokes. Interact with other members in our "Home Games" sub-forum in the Game Room forum. This is one of our most popular forums.
g. Like to cook? Then visit our Food and Recipes forums where you can contribute as well as find some great recipes for all kinds of national and international cuisine.
Administrators are people assigned the highest level of control over the entire board. These people can control all facets of board operation, which include setting permissions, banning users, creating usergroups or moderators, etc. They also have full moderator capabilities in all the forums. Wherever you see that a moderator is not assigned to a forum, one or more of our administrators is moderating that forum. Rike is in charge of Complaints.

Moderators are individuals (or groups of individuals) whose job it is to look after the running of the forums from day to day. They have the power to edit or delete posts, and lock, unlock, move, delete and split topics in the forum they moderate. Generally, moderators are there to prevent people from going off-topic, or posting abusive or offensive material.
