Recently, every time I try to run a scan, it will not update.
Can anyone tell me what I can do do make Bitdefender Update?

Hey, WC! Long time no see. Hope all is well with you.
1. If you are trying to run it from a Limited User account, or you are using DropMyRights, that could be the problem. Try running it from a normal IE browser in your Owner account.
2. If you are still having a problem, do a Start > Search > All Files or Folders and type in "bitdefender" without the quotes in the text box. Delete anything you find and try running it again.
3. If it still won't run, malware could be blocking it. Reboot and go into "Safe Mode with Networking" and try to run it there. It should work there if malware is the problem. If you do have to do this, complete running Bitdefender, delete or fix anything it finds, and then reboot into Safe Mode only and run all your anti-virus, anti-spyware scanners in Safe Mode (follow Sticky # 6 in the Tutorials forum).
