Jane...I see the movies on Demand with Charter...I have a few premium channels...I think either HBO or Stars I saw that one with Will Smith...If you have that option ...to see "The Pursuit of Happiness" give it a try...I wouldn't mind putting up a poll for that one...Not many movies touch me like this one did..

I saw Mystic River as well...Seeing it was set in Southie (South Boston) I had to see it..I like Kevin Bacon quite a lot anyways...I like movies that I have to figure out who did it...Smile...
Of course some of the parts that let to the end were sad but a good movie as well...Sean Penn...well...I will keep those feelings to myself..He didn't have the Boston Accent or Southie Accent at all...I think someone else could have done that part so much better...My thoughts on that anyways..

Return of JEdi...Smile...haven't seen that one yet...

Lol..how did we get to talking about movies... Wink Oh Yea..Kim..who is presently in Hollywood shooting some kind of movie..

Will fill you in when I know more...

Have a nice day...If you have a favorite movie...Let us Know..

The last movie that I saw in a theater was, Pirates of the Caribbean 2. When Shrek the Third first came out, I wanted to see that in a theater, but got it for Christmas, so that was the last movie I've seen on DVD.

Sheila, my daughter has The Pursuit of Happiness DVD, so I want to see it! She saw the I Am Legend movie in the theater  and said that it's SUPER SCARY!!  Spook

Ruth,

I've heard two different things about "I am Legend"...One was not good but I don't think he likes horror flicks and brought his daughter so she was scared...the other good as well as Spook . ..So what does your daughter say...Good or Bad...Don't mind the scary part...Life here is a horror show so scary doesn't bother me at all...Lol...Just kidding...I like horror flicks if there well written...

You must see "The Pursuit of Happiness" It will make you smile, almost cry or maybe Crying or Very sad ...What a good movie...I would say let the kids watch it as well...I think will show kids how to go for what they want in life...Never let go of your dreams...even if you just try...can't give it away so that's all I'm saying...I would rate it 5 star for sure...It's even on my favorite of all time movies...No horror in this one...
A true Story too...

I haven't seen Pirates of the Caribbean 2 yet...I can surf for it on TV...Did you like that one?

When I think of some others I liked I post them...scary or not...Smile

Taking my own home movies for the SciFi channel...Smile and I'm writing a book...That is when I find time off from cooking Shepards Pie...Lol...You whom know ...know I love to cook...Smile

Have a great day,

Sheila,

She didn't say one way or the other about I Am Legend, but if she was that scared, it must be good! Wink She doesn't get scared very often about movies. I, on the other hand, don't care for horror flicks. I get scared easily and grossed out easily.

I can't wait to see Pursuit of Happiness! I'll be crying for sure, I just know it!

The Pirates 2 movie wasn't that good. It was all being set up for another sequel, you could tell. We have the 3rd one on DVD and that was a good movie. Very Happy

Kim just got in from Hollywood and asked me to Call Repa and Say Hello! Wink So Hello Repa from Kim...me too!

How did I get on this movie kick...Oh Yea! I remember...

Thanks Ruth...Jeanie is coming over with a DVD of I am Legend probably this week. So I'll let you know what I think...I think I'll wait until I can't find anything on TV before checking out Pirates of the Caribbeans 2...sometimes these sequels just don't make it...Johnny Debt is a cutie and is good in some movies...Did you see Blow? That was based on a true movie too...The Rear Window or something like that was good staring him as well...Ok  enough movie trivia for this morning...

Later,

I guess that I'm confused about which movie you're talking about.  Please explain. Very Happy
