Mike,

Did you get the email I sent you about the time this new board crashed the other day?

It was in regard to adobe, quick launch, etc.

Yea sorry haven't checked my email yet. Just got me the Gmail manager for firefox I've been wanting to get. Guess its my Christmas present.

Your message is this I'm adding it here so others can get help as well.

1)  I don't know how to do the gmail "Chat".   I just saw that you requested a chat with me, & I clicked "Yes", but, that's all I know.
2)  I've got a question about the Adobe reader, I recently updated to.  The shortcuts that afixed themselves to the desktop, I think it's OK if I delete them, Correct?   That's what I want to do to clean up desktop.    Or maybe, Quick Launch", if I ever figure that out .

3)  The Adobe Reader "SetUp" Icon on the Desktop, every time I click on it, it goes into "Install" Mode, as if it hasn't already installed.   But, I installed it, at the time  that I UpGraded it.   Why does it do that?

You should delete the Adobe reader setup. That isn't needed anymore. You will need the icon for getting adobe when you need it.

Adding a quick launch is easy just right click the task bar. Scroll to toolbars and click on Quick Launch. You will see a set of icons next to your start.

Just drag and drop any short cut you need on there. If you don't really use the adobe short cut just delete it.

You can always get it from start>all programs and scrolling to adobe reader 8. Check to see if its there.

The chat only works when I am using my Gmail at the same time you are using it. It works like a regular chat.
