You can keep the antivirus program active and the Utilities antivirus program dormant. When you want to use the utilities program, just turn off or disable the separate antivirus program temporarily and tum the Utilities program on. When you finish, turn off utilities 7 and reenable your antivirus program. Same goes when you update the programs.

I made this discovery when I had VCom's Utilities 6 program. And neither one interfered with the other. Yesterday I upgraded my VCom program because that particular program gives you 3 licenses instead of one license. Before I could have the utilities on one computer only. Now I can use the program on 3 different computers.

I have used V-Com's System Suite for a long time now and heartily recommend it. It will keep your system clean and organized while protecting you from virus and spyware. It also includes a repair console that is much better than XP's if you have problems booting up.

If anyone is serious about trying it I have a discount certificate number that you can use. I think the 3 system price is $38. Just the virus/spyware and firewall is worth that much.
