Spywareblaster is mentioned in Sticky #3 and is a major tool - along with Spybot and IESpyad - for blocking the installation of ActiveX-based malware and other types of spyware, and eradicating tracking cookies that might otherwise invade your privacy. Each application does the same thing, but the combination of the 3 adds to the number of URLs entered into the restricted sites table, as each lists some that the others don't. |
Before my other problem. My start up and shut down was aweful. You helped me a great deal, then that post Raven posted about her problem, I followed that tutorial as well. And did it. All of a sudden my ad banner disappeared. I did nothing but follow your tutorials. I NOTICED the change after I did the tutorial you had posted for Raven. About adding
iii so and so to the block list
I think there were 2 or 3 of them
