· Quote

I hate to bother all of you but there is something that i don't understand.  I purchased a new computer two weeks ago.  It has 428 GB of hard drive to use.  I installed Microsoft Office 2007 and Acrobat Reader.  I have not written anything on Word or downloaded anything off the internet.  the only thing I have done was to read different websites and play games on Pogo.com.  I have not downloaded any games from that website.  Today I looked at the hard drive and saw it was down to 392 GB.  How could I have used 36 GB with the little that I have done?  Can someone explain to me or give me somewhere I can look to see how hard drive space is taken up?  Is this normal?  I had my previous computer for 6 years with only 75 GB and still had room when it died.  Hopefully this won't continue or my hard drive will be filled in less than 6 months.  I am at a loss on what is going on.  I feel very foolish.  Thank you again for all the advise you have given me over the years.

Hello Jafakf,

For most late part of the yr 2008 and some of the first part of 2009 we have been experiencing many problems on this host and due to this, we are currently using another host for a couple of months now. The speed is much, much better and we don't have the log in captcha there.

You are very much welcome to come join us there. You will have to register as we were not able to transfer the database. Reason being that the forums we use are free hosts Rolling Eyes

This is the link http://geeksgeeksmoregeeks.forumotion.net

I will post your problem on the new board so it can get its much needed attention ASAP.

Hope you do come join us at the new board!

All the best!
