Raising in poker is an art in itself. You must be able to do it and get pl to buyin with you when you want them in and you have to know when to buy them out.
Pocket pairs
Should you rais with poker pairs. It all depends on the table but ushaly you should to get rid of those low cards that could catch somthing big on the flop. AA and KK is a diferent situation. You can slow play them and could make a big pot out of it. But you need to do this with caution.
Starting hands
Any two face cards is a good starting hand and a good hand to rais on. Suited or conecting cards are aslo great to rais on.
Bluffing
You must learn how to bluff on your own. And you must understand the players you are playing as to how much you must bet for them to fold or what type of player they are. |
