Well after the 18 Man Battle Royal, there was only 1 man left standing.
It came down to a great battle between Shawn "the Widomaker" Tempers and Adrian Hawkins. After 16 other wrestlers were threw out of the ring, it was these 2 that was left to deal with each other head on.
After a great try by Adrian Hawkins, it turned out that Shawn Tempers was able to hold on win the GWP Championship. It was quickly followed up by a hug by his ringside parter the Reverend, as they embraced each other in the center of the ring. The crowd wasn't too happy to see these two celebrating in Shawn's Win in the 18 Man Battle Royal.
It was a crowd shocker to say the least. They say good guys finish last, and in this case it looks like Adrian Hawkins finished 2nd.
So the new champion for the GWP is none other that the Widow Maker. It should be one hot ticket to see who he defends his first title match against. I'm sure several GWP Wrestlers are lining up now to get a chance at the belt.
