Hi my name is Louise and I have been lucky enough to be chairman of High Fen RC for the last 4yrs!
I live at Little Horkesley with my partner Mark and my two children Chris and Victoria. Also living with us our Mr Woody (the ginger peril!), Woody is now 12 years old but still has to do everything twice as fast as everybody else! He events and we have competed at mainly intro level but we have also competed at PN. Many of you will have seen us out and about competing but I decided a few months ago that I needed a horse that was slightly easier in Dressage!
Busta is the new addition to the family. He is 16.3hh bay ISH and he is much calmer and a lovely person to have on the yard.Although at the moment I am concentrating my efforts on Busta, Woody is certainly not having a quiet life. I was very fortunate to be introduced to Jenny, who just adores him and she has been working really hard with him and hopes to compete him at her first BE intro in September! She rides him beautifully and didnt even disgrace herself at the dressage in July!
Two other family members are Tootsie and Pru. They are 10hh and 10.2hh rescuedWelsh Sec C ponies that I have on loan from the ILPH and they are know to us as fatty and skinny! I feel I need say no more. Tootsie is a lead rein pony that the grand children ride whenever they are over. Pru is not able to be ridden as she is far too nervous and was very badly treated in her earlier life. They are both characters and we would not be without them.
We then also have Tasha, the Shorthaired German Pointer and three cats Rosie 22 years old, Herbie and Harry. |
