I suppose it's only fair that I should go first as it was my idea!
I'm Maddie Thompson, Club Secretary and Treasurer and I've been a member and committee member since 1992.
I live in Tolleshunt Knights with husband Bryan, a skew cob called Bob, a Connemara pony called Billy, Tara the German Shepherd and a selection of rabbits, guinea pigs and other rodents including a rat called Ratty! We also have a lodger, Smurf - a blue and white cob belonging to my friend Sheila.
Bob and I are happy hackers - I used to do quite a bit of dressage but that was a long time ago and I haven't competed for years. I don't know if Bob and I will ever make it to a show - he's a sweetheart but we have a long way to go with the schooling before we're turning out in public! Billy was ridden until the end of 2006 but is now retired as he's getting on and has some joint problems. He's a lovely character and great to have about the place.
