Well the only person around here that does graphics is a user named Hollowminds. You could ask him to teach you but don't quote me on him helping you. He's been pretty busy lately.
As for beta tester spots:
They are currently not availible yet since we're not quite near beta yet but if you stick around you might get a spot later.
