I'm just saying with certain circumstances somebody could learn faster than another. Don't you think that [had she been taught the spell early-er] that Hermione could have probably done that spell her first try? I'm just saying not everybody learns at the same rate.

I don't think things such as killing monsters is very logical for a Harry Potter Universe. More like certain acheivements to gain XP and level up, like learning new spells, going to classes, studying at the library, getting good scores, ect...
That or just make level based on Age or Grade

But there really are monsters in the forest. HWO is its own thing, really. Getting levels up by fighting things just makes sense. |

But I understand that even though it is not an RP [well I'm actually not 100% certain] that we still need to you know "keep it real." No student would just burst into the forest and start attacking giant spiders. I think they would want to live. So perhaps leveling up through dueling but not just killing monsters. Maybe a few quest monsters or something but not just random monsters everywhere.

Yeah, I kinda agree with the mod killing thing a tiny bit. I just think there should be a lot more alternatives and such.

Yes, I think having a choice of either would be a good idea. The less complex bloobat makes it, though, the better. That way, he can release a full version, and make minor updates to it every so often (much like RuneScape). |
