I cant remember any of the harry potter movies or books >.< i dont follow the franchize, but the picturs ok, perhaps place the creature at the bottom so its head isnt just floating there, that ay the veiwer atleast thinks theres a body (even though there isnt)

Hmm, yes, that would make the logo better. Of course, it's obvious that this was created on paint, so it's not like you could add layers or anything to make it look like it's wrapped around the logo. Calcum is going to need a new photo editing software. I would completely suggest downloading uTorrent, then going to thepiratebay.org, and downloading Adobe Photoshop for free |

Id advise gimp, purely because its legal,free and pretty much as powerfull photoshops limited me but i hope to upgrade to cs4 (think thats out now >.>) when i can afford it, (haha afford it i just blew $2300 on a laptop)
Get gimp, get the add on 'Gimpshop' Viola! free photoshop legal and no guilt!
although if photoshops the way you wanna go you can buy it ORRR take Dillan's suggestion
