Think i dropped by last year but there wasn't any positions available.
But anyways I could help out with game development. I've never programmed MMORPGs before, but I've got some prgoramming experience over the last year. Also beta tested software as well.

We use Blitz Basic code (Realm Crafter scripting language) and BVM. You can check it out on www.realmcrafter.com and see their scripting language. But glad your interested!

Checked out some of their functions. Seems doable to me. I've been botting (  ) (sshhh) MMORPGs for 2 years now and trust me when I say I know how they work. hehe
Also, I've had a year experience as a computer tech - A+ Certified and also got my Network+ so i can definitely help with server/client architecture.
The only thing though - is im in university right now and i dont got the time to do too much these days but i can definitely help on the weekends and in the holidays (got 4 months off in summer).
So yeah i'd really like to get this project going and rolling..

Yes we do.

Cool. When you say you've been doing server structure, have you used MySQL? That's what we use. Also you are able to run servers on a computer?

I've heard all about MySQL, but never found the time to try it yet. I'm certified in setting up computers and servers on a network, (more on the networking and hardware side of things) but no i havent played with SQL databases yet.
And yes I can run a server, but not at my house though, cos we don't have high speed internet and we're not exactly rich.
I'll check it out and figure out as much as I can. In my opinion, the world is yet to be discovered. If there's anything you want me to do, please let me know so I can learn about it.
Also, do you guys have an IRC channel to chat on? It might be easier to discuss this in a group chat somehow.

We could use a guy to run a server possibly for the next test client. But we would need MySQL for that (maybe). But I'm really glad your interested. My advice is to read up on how to build MySQL servers over your break so you'll be an ace at it when it comes to running a MySQL server.
