haha YES!!!! MY CREATIVE THOUGHTS ARE JUST SCREAMING FOR THIS!!!! Also I have been watching some 3D Studio Max 2009 tutorials. Seems promising. Make sure the engine for the game will work for it. _________________

I'll check if it supports 3ds max files. I believe it can (I'm not using Realm Crafter by the way lol). But it's good your looking into modeling. Or what are you planning on doing? _________________ Headmaster Bloobat

3D Max makes models and cutscenes. It is very advanced but pretty easy with tutorials to help. _________________

Ok just letting you guys know that this game is verry complex and advanced. It's pretty much like what the pro game companies do. I've took the time to learn new codes to program it. Also this engine is more complex than Realm Crafter so I'm not completly sure if it'll take .wings format or anything like that (possibly 3ds Max though). As for cutscenes: there wont be much in the game. I plan to have interactive cutscenes so that you feel a part of the game. If you have ever played Fallout 3 the gameplay is similar to that (in terms of interactive cutscenes). Also with this game you would have to be serious about it, meaning no untextured models or half-finished models. The engine wont take it. If you're good with modeling people that look realistic then you can feel free to join. _________________ Headmaster Bloobat

That's not too bad baskyn. But yeah, this is a complex game so I have to make detailed models. I'm probably going to have to start modeling again soon for this game because I have lip sync in the game so I'll probably be doing a lot of work on this. As for 3D cutscenes: the only "movies" or videos that will appear in the game will be in the beginning, the intro, and the end. So far. The rest are interactive. _________________ Headmaster Bloobat

@baskyn:SO SWEESOME!!!!
@Bloobat:I am fine with writing interactive cutscenes!!! I can not wait!! It is kind of the same. Also can the into have a movie feel to it like credits saying "______ played by ______".
I also hope to get a microphone to lend my voice to this game. It would be very helpful for my career. _________________

@baskyn
What do you mean by organic? Also to lip sync it's all animation. Now I plan on using maya (if I can) to do it. It's far more easier. Maya also has detailed model features and the engine can support it. I found a very useful tutorial on how to lip sync with maya though. But for now I will do the lip sync myself. Unless I need some help with it.
@patzo
lol no I can't have that in the intro patzo. I have that in the credits. The credits show up once you beat the game or you can view them in the main menu. I will need voiceovers so I'll need to know what kind of voice you have (child-like, deep, high, cracky, etc.) so that I can find the right NPC to give your voice to. _________________ Headmaster Bloobat

Aw. Oh well no big deal. But who actually watches the credits?Kind of pointless. I have a wide range of voices. To squeaky little kid like to low and mature. Thats one of the reasons I think acting(Live action and animation) is for me. Just need my comp fixed, a microphone and audacity. Also I can do a crazy insane laugh. Sinister of playfully happy. _________________

@baskyn
Oh, well the game is kind of based on organic things but some may not be idk. And I was asking myself the same question, how would I get maya. I suppose I'll just cheat them out by using their trial and lip sync (when needed).
@patzo
Credits are cool. Of course many people skip them but it's there. Some people read them. They're actually pretty good: so one of your friends might play my game and see your name under the voice of several NPCs and they'll say "hey, I know that kid! He goes to my school!". Also I'm glad you have a variety of different voice effects. But a good quality microphone will be needed. One that doesn't pick up outside sound (like an airy noise in the backround, that's annoying). _________________ Headmaster Bloobat
