Hey bloo (or anyone who knows the answer) when you put animations in a game engine how do you make it where when you run you can shoot and you will shoot while your legs moving without executing an entirely new animation? and example of a bad animaion is in halo 1 when you run and throw a grenade your player looks like he is standing still and throwing it but is still running. |

As Hollow said, you can just make a running and shooting/grenade throwing animation. _________________ Headmaster Bloobat

Sometimes you would make it so when your running, you would always be with your gun up ready to shoot.
Then you could go as far as making it so you have a running animation, and when you shoot it jumps to the new animation of it combined. In a multiplayer game though you would have to Sync it so your player doesn't "jump" into the new animation. _________________ Kingdomwars!!

Possibly it can cause lag. But you can make some sort of "call of duty" or battlefield type running/sprint animation that holds the gun down while running. _________________ Headmaster Bloobat
