Hey, thats cool to hear. I used to know where to find a bunch of links...
GameMaker--2D gamemaker, can make terrible 3d, but interesting to use with a huge community since I last used it 4 years ago. Coding can be used to make advanced games
http://www.yoyogames.com/make
Fps Creator-- a Free 3d \first person shooter engine, has alot of free things to use and no coding requried.
http://www.fpscreator.com/
There is alot more but those two are free and not horrible, but when your certain you want to make a game and are ready to commit you gotta spend some cash, its also handy to learn how to model when your designing at an indie level _________________ Kingdomwars!!

To make an rpg? There are probably some open source engines or libraries out there that you can find. But you can't be afraid to spend a little change. _________________ Headmaster Bloobat

@tow
lol I always use trials lol. The only engine I bought and didn't use a trial was Realm Crafter. I'm such a cheapie lol. But my Unity trial is about to expire...
@greenguy
That's what trials are for. They either give you an unlimited trial with limited features, or they give you the whole engine, but for a certain amount of days. This is so you know what you'll be buying. Or you can also try out video games that were made by the engine to see what you can do with it. _________________ Headmaster Bloobat
