Yea, anyway you can't deny this was an experience  Maybe you could post on the rc forums if anyone wants the file, so they can play with, edit and do whatever with?

Yeah I plan to keep in touch with people.  Also I'll probably let gamerblend know for sure that I'm making another game (of course once I get Unity). Indie resource I'll look into as well.
And I'd love to give an RC user the project but the people who might want to pick it up might be like "new" to the engine lol. I hope I can find some person with the experience to take it over since people who are new might just give up on it lol.

It sucks. But I have moved on. I have my own project. But I am more sad to see this forum so lifeless. I mean just because H.O. is canned doesn't mean we can't use this forum for other stuff.

Yeah its just really weird. It seemed like yesterday we were all working hard to make this. I was really looking forward to it though its not the first time WB have shut down kids websites because they're overprotectiveness of HP. They gave out letters to children and adults who had little websites about harry potter. In no way would it damage WB and the letters said that they threatened to sue. One girl got extremley upset and was frightened her "daddy" would lose all his money. As you can tell she was pretty young and her site was just basically saying Harry Potter is the best or it rocks.
Someone decided to start making sites like harrypottersucks.com and warnerbrothersarestupid.com. Stuff like that. Other fans helped though they didn't mean it they just intended WB to get embarressed. So they didn't sue. |
