Q. Isn't this the copyright of Harry Potter? Don't you need permission?

So is the name we've been trying so hard to figure out going to be "Hogwarts Online" for the MMORPG? I think that could work.
Also, in terms of graphics, scripting and so on, how far are we along, percentage wise? You don't have to answer that question if you don't want to.

When the game IS released for beta, will it be open to the public, or do you need to apply or have an account here? I know of several people who would like to test it out but if you don't want too many people running around lagging it up before it's even done I understand. =D

It's just we could use the more things covered as fast as possible. Nothing is more annoying then Sending out for realese and fine glitches. ALSO hOW LONG WILL BETA LAST CAUSE WE NEED PEOPLE TESTING PRETTY FAR IN THE HOGWARTS YEAR srry caps. Like i mean in later year since u gain more stuff. SO ther could be errors there. And i think base d on amount of people that will first even find are game. I think are serves can hold them enough not to lag. And if they are... Then we got problem when we get big

I wanna Beta Test! Please? Anyways...
Those who beta test, will they be like, older students when the game is finally open? What I'm asking is, will the game be only open for the beta testers until they have gone through the school and graduated, then set up shops while there is new traffic for students to enter hogwarts?
We've decided a year to equal three months? Seven years to graduate hogwarts equal twenty one months, round that up to twenty four months for some to make a shop. We could have the beta testing done in two years.
But, to have students in every year and a year after, we will need to stagger start. As in, divide the number of beta testers into eight groups, and then send in each group every three months so that we can have people in every year when the game is finally released.
Unless, you don't want that. You could have the effect of a brand-new opened school when people do join. But...

Well, see, it's like this...
You get to test the game before it goes out to the public. We go through the game--playing, of course--and see if we can find any glitches with programming and stuff.
I'll race you. Whoever can find the most glitches wins. And whoever finds the least wins, also. 
There are only the two of us racing. Ha ha ha. We'll both win.

You can apply for beta testing. Under join the team. Apply for a job. Beta testing.

wow 2 years just to gradate hogwarts, Kinnda makes me wonder are fans going to make that inda commitment. Alot happens in two years, you could get bored of games, or pheonix could hit puberty lol ( jk ) I think ther should be a way to make graduating come sooner then in 2 years. But i like having a year 3 months.mean if you play every day i think graduation could come a month or two early if u finish all of the stuff early. I Think we could go ind alike semesters. YOu need to graduate the semester to go on,or finish enought required classes in that semester. That way in 7 months you could be out of hogwarts. SO saying u would graduate in 2 1/3 year in hogwarts.

Ooh. I like the idea of self-paced classes at Hogwarts. Like what Hermione did, we could take extra classes and graduate early.
But then there is the problem of age. You have to be 17, I think? Can there be scripted a choice if you finish all the required classes for the seven years, can we choose to be the graduating age? Or whatever age you're supposed to be after a year?

It would be neat if you could choose whether or not to go on a trip around the world or whatever you please as a graduation trip... personally i'd like that, but the party idea sounds good too. Of course, you could just do like Fred and George and just get yourself expelled on the last day... i'd prefer that to a party.
