I will have to try fallout three than lol, never played it. I am learning advanced modeling though. the problem is if your going to make an advanced person you need the blueprints of them. :/

I am not so mad anymore. Very Happy I am so sorry for my profanity. I mean I am the enthusiastic one! My job is not only a writer and and sometimes , researcher but I am a uplifter, a BEACON OF LIGHT!! I was not doing my job.

I NEED TO POINT OUT ALL THE SILVER LININGS!! Very Happy

I mean so we didn't finish the game.So what? It was not all for not(I am learning fancy old speak to prepare to flesh out the story in the new game).

I mean in this production, did we learn nothing? Did this not give us more understanding of game making and what gamers want? Did this not give us understanding of story telling?

Think of Hogwarts Online as a test. A practice to prepare us for a bigger and beter project!! Did it not acomplish that? Also during this did we not become friends?

So brighten up!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
Don't be mad. Be grateful for what good we have.

They never listed a price, but they knew it would be out of my league.
@baskyn
Yes, I plan on using advanced modeling teqniques. Because I'd like to take gaming to the next level. Wink So you can also take your modeling to the next level as well (cause I'm going to lol). And you should try fallout 3, it will give you a basic idea of what The Generation's gameplay will be like.
@patzo
Yes I've been discussing The Generation I: Origination with AntheamA so we've got some good ideas. Currently writing the game out so yeah. This game will be even better than Hogwarts Online so yes, try looking at the bright side.

I hope Hogwarts Online symbolized something to people and that inspired people to go out and make games. Didn't turn out the way I wanted but it could be worse so I've been getting over it and I hope you all can too. After all there will be a new game I'm making so hope you all are interested.

SWEESOME!! I can't wait to start on those cut scenes, interactive and cinematic. It feels so nice to write for something original and not held back by copyright.!! Well baskyn and FF are interested in modeling! Smile Also I am here to write scripts for the story.
Towcar and Hollowminds will help out at some point in someway likely.

Oh.  Well.  er...  I  have  nothing  to  say.  I  love  HP  and  so  I'm  excited  for  this  upcoming  mmorpg  but  deeply  sadened.  Sadly  this  game  had  a  lot  of  work  involved.  I  won't  sign  the  petition  as  I  know  it  won't  work.  I'm  writing  a  letter  to  WB  about  their  MMO.  I  have  a  few  ideas  I  want  them  to  look  over.  Blood  do  you  have  a  letter  adress?

I'm glad you're interested however I might have to do this alone.. This is a serious game meaning it's like a professional game. Which requires professional work. And a possibility it may go commercial wise. As a matter of fact that's what I've been aiming for. So in order to work with me on it you'll have to be skilled in certain areas with pro level. I'm not putting you or anyone else down but this is a high level game.. I'm trying to go beyond my skills and improve them to make a pro game. I'd also probably have to pay you if you were high skilled because the game would go commercial. So I'll be working on this alone patzo sorry. I cannot reform my Hogwarts Online team and work on this game.

@calum
Sorry, I never got an adress for it...They only gave me a zip code.

Although HWO had a horribly organised team system i really need to say and by no means am trying to offend you by saying this but....
what your proposing to do is next to impossible.

Yes it actually is. I'm probably going to have to learn all of that in like a year. The only way I can do this is probably by myself. However I might have to hire people (which I was intending on having voice actors as well). The team system was badly organized in what way though?

@patzo
You're taking this a different way than what my post was saying. I'm not saying "leave young, useless people behind" or anything like that. But what I am saying is that you'll have to be a certain skill level in order to work with me. You're not at that skill level yet, but if you do get there, you'd have a chance. I cant take in random people and allow them on the team or have the old Hgwo team because we didn't achieve a whole lot of progress in terms of what we needed. I'm taking my skills to the next level so just dont get all caught up in your emotions.

Hmm...  well  I'm  never  doing  this  again.  Sheer  disappointment  is  common  to  me  so  I  try  to  avoid  it.  Eh...  Patzo  thats  not  what  he  was  saying.  He  was  basically  saying  he's  going  his  seperate  way.  This  is  going  to  be  hard  to  leave  since  I've  been  here  so  long.  I  liked  you  all  so  much  though  you  provbably  didn't  like  me  (judging  on  karma).

Bloodbat  good  luck  with  your  game  and  hope  you  get  the  best  career  in  gaming.

Hollomind  you  seem  talented  with  computers  so  I  hope  you  the  best  for  the  future.

Nmjam  (I  forget  how  to  spell  it)  your  very  ambitious  and  so  I  hope  you  have  the  best  job  you  can  get!  You  also  seem  very  good  with  Blender  so  keep  that  in  mind  too.

Patzo  your  so  enthusiastic  and  a  joy  to  work  with.  I  love  the  word  sweesome  and  I  hope  this  situation  hasn't  brought  you  down.

FFesgamer  you  seem  to  know  a  lot  about  textures  and  so  you  will  hopefully  get  a  job  in  gaming.

Baskyn  you  seem  a  great  modeller  and  also  will  hopefully  earn  a  career  in  gaming.

Towcar  your  are  just  amazing  and  I  respect  you.  You  never  gave  up!  Thats  why  you  deserve  the  best  future  there  is!

Dillon  you  were  extremley  funny  and  I  wonder  where  you  are  now  as  you  don't  come  on  anymore.

To  everyone  else  I'm  sorry  if  I  never  mentioned  you  and  I'm  sad  I  never  got  a  chance  to  meet  you  all.

Finally  to  HWO.  We  never  got  a  chance  to  finish  you  or  play  you.  It  was  great  fun  making  you!

I  hope  this  makes  you  all  feel  better.  Smile

It takes more then a year to get to professional standards in all the things youl need, i dont know what you classify as "professional/commercial" but ill tell you to what i label that its not something your going to get from a blitz, python or basic language coder.

I allways set the benchmark with crysis, 22million dollars went into that game.

Unless your games going to be low budget of a few thousand dollars please refrain from saying your going to bust into the game development industry at such a young age. Your setting yourself up for anticlimax.

Other then that good luck, i havent seen any of your skills besides shown in realmcrafter projects so i cant really say ive seen enough to say how easy this project will be for you.
