Want to meet the cutest pair of Basset's ever....will look no farther you've found us. We are M&M (Max & Maggie) and we are just as sweet as the candy. We've had a little bit of a rough year and we need a loving forever home together. Our Daddy got sent overseas and we were left behind. We are middle aged and still have a lot of spunk and LOVE to play together. We have lived most of our lives outside, but sure would like to go to a home that allows us to learn to be inside couch potatoes!! WE HAVE TO BE ADOPTED TOGETHER.....WE ADORE EACH OTHER AND CAN NOT BE SEPERATED. And what is better than to snuggle 2 big Basset's at once?...not much in our opinions :0) We are altered, comepletely UTD on all of our vaccinations. The rescue is only asking for a minimal donation of $ as our adoption fee , just to ensure we can stay together. If you are interested in adopting us please contact Cindy at Iowa Basset Hound Rescue at Iowahounds@msn.com or 712- 204 -9807 so she can tell you her
self how GREAT we are!!

A Dog's Soul
Every dog must have a soul, somewhere deep inside Where all his hurts and grievances are buried with his pride.
Where he decides the good and bad, the wrong way from the right, And where his judgment carefully is hidden from our sight. A dog must have a secret place, where every thought abides, A sort of close acquaintance that he trusts in and confides.
And when accused unjustly for himself, He cannot speak, Rebuked, He finds within his soul, the comfort he must seek. He'll love, tho'he is unloved, and he'll serve tho'badly used, And one kind word will wipe away the times when he's abused. Altho' his heart may break in two, his love will still be whole, Because God gave to every dog an understanding Soul! Author Unknown
