MARCH 12TH IN OMAHA , NE IS ONCE AGAIN WE ARE WADDLING DOWN THE STREETS WITH BASSET AND BEAGLE OF THE HEARTLAND RESCUE .
HERE IS THE DTAE AND TIME OF THE EVENT.
Omaha, Nebraska March 14th, 2009
9:00 am Arrive at the parade – The staging area is currently 15th and Jones. The parade is approximately 10-12 blocks. Parking is first come-first serve – Please arrive early!!! The parade is in the Old Market area in downtown Omaha and parking can be difficult.
10:30 The Omaha Nebraska Saint Patrick’s Day parade begins at 10:30. We will post specific information relating to the staging area as it becomes available. We will have a pick-up truck pulling a flat bed trailer for the hounds and their owners who can’t walk the entire parade route.

A Dog's Soul
Every dog must have a soul,
somewhere deep inside
Where all his hurts
and grievances are

And where his judgment carefully
is hidden from our sight.
A dog must have a secret place,
where every thought abides,
A sort of close acquaintance that
he trusts in and confides.
And when accused unjustly
for himself, He cannot speak,
Rebuked, He finds within his soul,
the comfort he must seek.
He'll love, tho'he is unloved,
and he'll serve tho'badly used,
And one kind word will wipe away
the times when he's abused.
Altho' his heart may break in two,
his love will still be whole,
Because God gave to every
dog an understanding Soul!
